New victory motorcycles to roll in India roads in 2012
There is no doubt that the motor bike sector will experience the sensation when a US make motor bike will hit the India market on 2012. Already established companies like Harley- Davidson are expecting the competition to be high when victory motorcycles will be launched. This can be seen as the company has been studying the market of India and is said to have come with the best suit for India which will cost in the range of ($12499-$27994) which can be converted to (Rs.5.68lakh-Rs.12.73lahk). Victory is expected to unveil all this during its planned 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.
The Polaris industry bikes will be exported to India fully made and any plans to assemble it have been left for the market to determine with the response it will have on the bikes. However the following brands are some of what the victory motorcycles is expected to release Victory Vision Tour, Ness Vegas, Victory Jackpot Bike, Victory cross road, Hammer, Vegas Kingpin 8ball and Vegas 8-Ball, Ness Victory Vision.
Harley Davidson roads king will have tough completion from that of Victory motorcycle the cross country as both are designed to be used in the long distance riding. They however have some similarities as they are powered by a V engine which has 1731 cc which makes them best competitors in the market. The other models which include Vegas range which include the Vegas 8Ball and jackpot have an engine which has is 1634cc which is best suited for sporting as well as racing. The victory kingpin classic and freedom V-Twin are powered by the same size of engine that’s mated to a 6 speed transmission.
The company believes that the models will do well like in the other countries it operates in which include France, New Zealand, Sweden, Finland and U.K .The company products which also include snowmobiles have been a success and it is expecting the same to replica in India. The company official also reiterated that if the market response was good it will consider assembling the bikes in India as this will lower their cost of production thus lowering the prices of the bike. Until 2012 we have to wait for the models which will be unveiled.
